Nitrile is a synthetic rubber cover made from acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymers, developed for demanding paper machine press applications.
It offers excellent resistance to oils, chemicals, and abrasion, making it particularly suitable for Hard Press (Blind Drilled/Grooved) positions. Nitrile performs effectively up to 120°C in air and 150°C in oil, with moderate hysteresis and low heat buildup. Its durability and chemical resistance make it an economical and reliable choice for positions operating under moderate to high linear loads.
